Front door is solid mahogany, the fireplace mantle was made by Dwight Sharpe, neighborhood developer, as a house warming gift. It's made from a support beam from the Brown Summit R/R depot that was dismantled around 26 years ago. The wood is over 126 years old and irreplaceable. The whole house generator is a 26KW from Generac. Still under warranty and transferable. Room at the top of the foyer stairs is completely sound proof for volume reasons. Wall behind fireplace is also sound proof to the MBR. Solid Oak cabinets and foyer stairs all built by my father in law. Hardwood in foyer is oak. Hardwood in kitchen, dining alcove and half bath is Bamboo. Some people like oil, some don't. Never had a problem with it. House has two Thermapride 85% efficiency furnaces both under house. Very good dependable heat.
